ABOUT THIS RECIPE

This easy-to-make soup is the perfect comfort food for cold winter days. The star ingredient is roasted tomatoes, which bring out their natural sweetness and create a rich, deep flavor. Adding cream creates a luxurious texture that complements the tomato flavor.

You can quickly whip up this soup with simple ingredients like garlic, onion, olive oil, and heavy cream, and it pairs well with crusty bread or a side salad. Serve as a starter or light meal for a satisfying and delicious experience.

NUTRITIONAL BENEFITS

Creamy Roasted Tomato Soup offers several nutritional benefits. Firstly, tomatoes in the recipe provide a significant amount of vitamin C, potassium, and antioxidants, which can help boost the immune system and reduce inflammation. Moreover, roasting the tomatoes increases their lycopene content. This potent antioxidant helps protect against heart disease and cancer.
Additionally, using an air fryer to make the soup reduces the need for oil, making it a healthier option. Finally, when added to the soup, heavy cream provides calcium essential for strong bones and teeth. However, individuals should consume heavy cream in moderation due to its high saturated fat content. To make the soup a healthier alternative, one can use low-fat milk or add more vegetables like carrots, celery, or spinach to increase the nutrient content.
In conclusion, the Creamy Roasted Tomato Soup prepared in an air fryer is not only a nourishing and tasty dish, but it also fits seamlessly into a well-rounded diet. With an array of health benefits, this scrumptious soup is the perfect option for anyone seeking a wholesome and delightful meal.
